A BLAMELESS LIFE

Psalm 101:2

I will be careful to lead a blameless life – when will you come to me? I will walk in my house with a blameless heart. Psalm 101:2

Here King David is showing his desire to see GOD. He is asking GOD to come to him. And free him of his many troubles. But as we get to know David, he is a person who loved seeking GOD. He sought GOD on many occasions. Not just when he was in desperate need, he also sought GOD even when he was joyful (something we all need to learn).

In this verse we see that he not just wanted GOD to come into his life (which can also mean intervene in his situations) but he also wanted to be blameless when GOD met him. He wanted to prepare himself for when GOD met him.

In the second part of the same verse he also mentions that he is going to walk in his house with a blameless heart. This part is the one which caught my attention. It is easier to lead a blameless life when in the world. You know someone is always watching you. You can see them and they can see you. You and I can always put a mask on and make people believe something we want them to believe. Being in the good books of people is a fairly easy task. Which, almost all of us have done at some point in our lives. At least I have done that.

But we are our true self in our home? Especially in our room. Behind closed doors. Where there is no one watching us. We do things that we won’t normally do in public. Like singing out loud, dancing crazy and many other things. You get it, right? David knew what he could do in his house when he knew no one was around. Many people end up doing regretful things when no one is around. It is that empty room with doors locked that makes many to lose their power of decision making.

People get caught in porn, substance abuse, masturbation, gluttony, cutting, depression, loneliness and many other evil things when they are alone. When one has to make the choice between the right and wrong and when the thought of “no one is watching or no one will know” overcomes, they lose the battle and give into many things they end up regretting.

The worst part is when they start feeling guilty and move away from GOD. They feel they are too dirty and filthy for GOD. Instead of running toward HIM they run away from HIM.

If only they knew that GOD’s love knows NO LIMIT and knows NO BOUNDS! In the old testament GOD and man had a separation. There was a void between them that no one but GOD could fulfill. That’s why JESUS came, HE took up all the sins of the world and HE died. No matter how ugly and filthy and nasty they might be HE took it and washed them through HIS blood! If GOD knew that there are certain sins that are too profound for GOD to be able to forgive and wash away, HE would not have sent HIS only son JESUS! It is because HE is able and all powerful to wash all and every sin away HE came and did what we couldn’t ever possibly do in this lifetime.

Now like David said, it is awesome to strive hard to lead a blameless life. But we are of this flesh and we are bound to fall. But since we have a GOD who understands us and is willing to set us 'captives' free, let us not run away from HIM the next time we fall. But, let us run towards HIM who is able to pull us from whatever slime we are in and make us stand on a solid ground.

Our GOD is a loving, forgiving and kind Father. He wants you and I to come to HIM and talk to HIM. Today my dear friends if you feel sad and guilty for something you did in the past, please I want to encourage you to go to GOD. Talk to HIM about your problems. Ask HIM to help you feel better and to take off the guilt feeling and never let you do anything like that again.

Remember you might fall but you will always be HIS child.

GOD bless you!

Let Us Be Thankful For Everything!!

It is always easy for me to get down on my knees and blame GOD for the things that not good in my life. I can count endless lists of items, not good in my life. I can stay up for endless hours and keep blaming and fighting with GOD. But when it comes to counting my blessings I have to search for words. I am so unaware of the good things GOD has done in my life because I spend all my time, concentrating on things I don’t have or those things I want to have. If you ask to me tell at least 5 good things GOD has done in my life and you’ll find me stammering, gasping for words and then failing miserably.

I am pretty sure that I am not the only person suffering from “not thankful heart” disease. Loving GOD and going to church every Sunday is a completely different thing. If you and I love GOD and don’t know why, we don’t truly love HIM. Actually there are millions of things that we can thank GOD for. But we don’t consider them worthy enough to be thankful for.

Good health, food, clothing, home, family, air… the list goes on. You and I are blessed. And that’s true. Yes we might have many unanswered prayers and many things unfulfilled. But that does mean you and I are not blessed.

The problem comes when we end up comparing ourselves with others or when we start listening to those people whose specific job in this world is to pull us down. These people or some situations just kill the joy within and make us miserable. The solution is to spend more time with GOD and to keep reminding yourself of how blessed you are. Keep thanking GOD for every little thing HE has done in your life. You don’t have to have mighty miracles happening in your life to be thankful. But you need to be thankful for little things for mighty miracles to happen.

Let us make it a habit to thank GOD for every little thing HE has done in our lives and live a happy life free from “not thankful heart” disease!

GOD Bless you more and more!! Be Thankful and be Kind!

Fighting GOD!

Does GOD really exist?

Everyday people come up with all sorts of proofs to prove HE does and HE doesn’t exist. In this world where being godly is considered to be completely outdated, how strong has to be the faith of the one (somebody who like many believers has never seen GOD face to face) who believes that GOD exists! To many, such a man is a complete ‘stupid’.

But his faith keeps him going. Many believers all around the world are still persecuted because of their faith! But they continue to live amidst all pain because their Faith is stronger than their feelings. These believers don’t need a proof that GOD exist but they just don’t know how to prove it to the world. They go on living their lives believing that GOD exists and waiting for the day they will finally get to see GOD they always believed existed.

Bottom line is that the truth will ultimately reveal itself. Maybe not now. But it will. And when it does, we will have our winner.

And what if the winner is the believer? Others who spent countless hours in proving that GOD never existed will finally find themselves fighting no one but GOD HIMSELF!

What is Religion? / Do Christians force their faith on others?

People think Christianity is a religion. That’s not true! Like other religions Christianity doesn’t provide a set of rules! Those who believe JESUS CHRIST and all HIS teaching and follow HIM are called Christians. That is ‘Followers of CHRIST’.

Religion is all about do's n don’ts. It imposes ones perspective forcefully on others. It can never change a person inside out. That’s why one should "hate" religion, and love GOD.

When people say that Christians go around converting people, the truth is actually entirely different. Don’t we go and tell our friends to try out a new restaurant if it’s our favorite place? We love to encourage people to do something we enjoy doing.

It’s the same thing with Christians! We believe that this life on earth is finite. And there is a life after we die. That life would be a life of eternity. And only the Grace of GOD can help us to live the life of eternity in Heaven with HIM!

Our choice can either save our life in eternity or abandon us forever! It is the love for our brothers and sisters in the world that drives every true Christian to preach the good news to all.

The Choice is in your hand!

JESUS loves you!

LORD'S NOW

‘See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.’     Is. 43:19

How 'NOW' is HIS 'NOW'???
How long does HE expect us to wait??
Hopes keep fading!!! Time keeps running!!
When will it dawn??
I wish these feeble hands of mine
could tear open the veil of uncertainties
and at least see the glimpse of HIS light!!
How long do I wait in despair ??
LORD please don't delay no longer!!
May your 'NOW' be ‘NOW’!!
LORD nothing seems right ‘NOW’... My heart is sinking deep…
all YOUR promises are right before me…
I know my future is not uncertain...
But when will it all come to pass??
How long do I wait?
Teach me to be patient LORD…
YOUR ‘NOW’ might not be my ‘NOW’!! But I know that when YOUR ‘NOW’ is revealed my waiting ‘NOW’ will be all worthwhile.

GOD'S Got Great Plans For U!!!!

This is how HIS plans work for those who love GOD
1.      GOD tells you HIS plans (maybe through vision or through HIS word etc).
2.      HE confirms those plans either through HIS prophets or through verses or maybe even both.
3.      You get all excited!
4.      Now, you wait
5.      You wait
6.      You wait
7.      You wait ……………………………………………………..
N.  You are still waiting.

And now you start thinking was HIS promise really for me? Will GOD really speak to me? Do I have a future hope?

In the Holy Bible Joseph received a vision that one day his whole family will bow down to him and that he will be in a very high position. But there he was in the pit, rejected by his own brothers. (Genesis 37 onwards)

David was anointed king over Israel (1 Samuel 16:13) and there he was in the field tending the sheep.

Abraham was promised a son (Genesis 12 onwards) but his wife Sarah was barren.

We might start doubting GOD when HIS promises don’t seem to be fulfilling and the situation keeps deteriorating from bad to worse. But what we do not see is that the pit and the barrenness is actually a part of HIS magnificent plan.

Today if you find yourself in a pit asking GOD, “How long must I endure this pain?” I encourage you to thank GOD for where you are. Because HIS Amazing plan for you has begun! And once HE is done shaping you, you’ll understand why you had to undergo all the trials. All the trials you endured would ultimately seem nothing when HIS plans start fulfilling!

   GOD says:
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Keep loving GOD and expect great things to happen soon!!  GOD loves you!

HE Giveth More Grace by Annie J. Flint

Annie J. Flint
, who was Blind, Cancerous, Arthritic and Orphan wrote these words:

He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labours increase;
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials His multiplied peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,
Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing;
The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power has no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

You are not Destined to the Dustbin!

I was thinking of throwing this "strechy" piece of thread. But, then I ended up making a wrist band with some "accessories"(which again were destined to the dustbin ;) )..

Moral of the story: If you are thinking that you are hopeless and your life has no purpose. How about asking GOD to reveal HIS purpose to you and to start working in your life? HE will surely show you the right directions.

And who knows you might end up being something really beautiful you never thought of !

Remember JESUS loves you! and You are not Destined to the Dustbin !

HE Came To Set the Captives Free

Isn’t it preposterous when someone calls you a “Slave” or “Captive”? We live in a free country. We have our rights as free citizens. Yes, of course, we are accountable to our higher authorities, but we are NOT their slaves. We are FREE!

Are you sure? Are we really free? Can we really say that? How many of us have a habit that has become a part of our life. Some of those habits may be really good but not all of them. How many of us have had a thought we start struggling with, only to find the more we fight it the more we seem to get caught up in it. Some thoughts or actions might seem nothing at first but they end up being addictive and sometimes, even shameful. And then for some it even ends up being a repetitive guilty pleasure (no matter how happy you are doing it, you always end up being guilty).

We have all sailed the “Guilt Boat” at some point or the other in our lives. It’s easy to get caught in such situations when it all seems innocent at first but it doesn’t take long before it all gets messed up. You find yourself struggling to get out but it always seems too late. It’s become so repetitive and addictive that now you think “you can’t live without it”.

Isn’t that captivity? Well I am not here to judge. All I want to tell to all those who can relate to whatever was said earlier, is that there is an ANSWER! How about trying to give the reigns of your boat into the hands of Someone who actually cares about your wellbeing and is as much desperate as you are (may be even more!) to help you get out of your situation. Come on, you have nothing to lose. Haven’t you tried everything? What’s the harm in giving GOD a chance?

How about asking GOD who promises to love you no matter what, to take control of your life? Ask HIM to teach you to love yourself and not hurt yourself. Ask HIM to help you have control over your thoughts and actions. JESUS is a loving friend. HE is never going to get frustrated if you fail trying. HE will always be standing right next to you to pick you up and dust you off when you fail. HE is not going to condemn you when you fail. You can always trust HIM. The more you let HIM control your life the more control you will have over your own life! Trust me, experience talks!

And the best part is your mind is actually in your control. But sadly not many of us realize it. When you ask for GOD’s help he doesn’t steal your reigns away but HE helps you to steer your boat in the right direction! Now, how cool is that!

I hope you will one day let your guards down and give GOD a chance. All the best for a captivity FREE life!  And remember “HE Came to Set the Captives Free”!

Promised Land

Exodus 13:21,22
By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.
Neither the pillar of cloud by day not he pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

Be it a day where your path is visible or night where everything is uncertain and doubtful, GOD is going to bring you help in the right form. GOD knows your needs. HE knows the pillar of fire in the morning and a pillar of cloud in the night is what you want. GOD understands you. And HE knows what you need and at what time. HE provides you with shade in the morning and with warmth in the chilly nights. HE is a good Father who cares for HIS children and an ideal mother who knows the child's need even without asking.

The pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire didn't just stay in one place. Instead they were moving, guiding the people towards the Promised Land. GOD doesn't want you to have a stagnate life. Yes, HE wants you to take rest and HE also wants you to learn when you wait patiently for the cloud to move. But this doesn't mean HE wants you to settle for anything less than the Promised Land.

GOD didn't just send any pillar of cloud or fire to his children. GOD HIMSELF was the Pillar of Cloud and the Pillar of fire. When GOD says "I will never leave you nor forsake you" HE means it. HE never makes any promise HE cannot fulfill.

My dear friends GOD wants to tell you, HIS beloved chosen ones, that HE knows what you need and that HE will provide for it much better than you would have expected. Don't be frustrated because none of HIS promises seems to be coming true. HE will lead you towards the land which HE promised you. And lastly, HE will not just tell you the directions but HE will also walk you through all the roads that lead towards the Promised Land.

JESUS loves you!
