I Pray for you

Hello my dear friends,

I have no idea how many of you actually read my blog, or want to read it, but its kind of satisfying to know that your are putting out your thoughts to the whole wide world. And may be somewhere in some room someone is reading what you want to say and maybe even relates to it! Its amazing how small the world has become. Its amazing how "talking to the world" has become so much possible than before.

Its like praying to GOD. You can't see HIM, but you and I still talk. We still lay out requests, out petitions, our complaints before HIM. And it does reach HIM. HE might not always respond, but I am sure HE must be nodding HIS head and saying "I can relate to it too".

HE did come in the form of a human being! HE has gone through all the or maybe most of the emotions we go though. Sometimes bearable and sometimes you just have to bear the unbearable. Its a funny world. How everyone is tested and tried. We smile and laugh but tests and failures are so inevitable.  Even victory is inevitable but sometimes we have failed so many times and wished for good days so much, that when we do win we just can't enjoy it!

We are so used to being sad, our victory and its celebration always lasts a moment. We sometimes get scared to win because its not going to last long. You have to struggle again to win. There is a fight always in the corner. Always there is a competition, always a rush to win, to be better, and to get bigger! The struggle just won’t stop.

GOD knows it all. I am going through this time of trial, which just does not seem to end. Its like my prayers won’t go high enough. Its like there is some sort if  barrier that won’t allow my prayers to reach GOD. Its like the time of waiting wont end. There is test and test and more test everyday. Its like with every day I am moving away from GOD. I have placed all my requests in front of HIM. I have told all my problems to HIM. I tried waiting, thanking, praising, praying, fasting.

I am not saying that I deserve GOD to talk to me. I am a nothing. But I really need GOD right now. I need HIM to come. I need HIM to help and be there. I am surrounded by people but I feel so alone. There is a huge void which only GOD can fill. I want and need GOD to intervene. Oh, how I need HIM right now! I know this might not be HIS time, but I am feeling so desperate and helpless.

I am pretty sure many of you can relate to me right now. If you can then I want to tell you something.

As I write this blog, I am praying for you and whatever trials you are going through. I pray that GOD will bring you help in the right time, and that all your problems end in JESUS name. I pray that you would find peace and love and also share it with others. I pray that HIS joy and HIS grace abound in your lives both now and forever. May GOD make you an overcomer in the precious name of our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST! Amen. And don't forget to pray for me too!

Love to anyone reading this! GOD bless you.

Take care!

Let's Walk On Water

“Lord if it is you”, Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come”, He said.
Mathew 14:28,29

The beautiful thing about Peter in this verse is that that he asked JESUS to call him towards Him! What would have I asked? Maybe, “Lord if it is you, tell me to walk on water”. And if JESUS would have said yes, I would have jumped down the boat ran all around the lake. But Peter did a very beautiful thing! It was like a child asking his Super Parent (because He is actually walking on water, cmon!) to call him to HIM! As if he was planning to run towards JESUS and hug Him! Saying LORD thank you for choosing me, I could never have done or seen these things if you had not called me! And maybe he would have also worshipped HIM!

But poor Peter did a blunder, in verse 30. One thing I don’t get is, wasn't Peter a fisherman? How could he drown? Aren't all fishermen supposed to know swimming? Or maybe he got too scared and didn't know what to do.

But the good thing is Peter was actually walking towards JESUS, so HE was at immediate reach. But it is not that, if Peter was far, JESUS could not have immediately gotten close to him and helped him up.

The thing I learnt from this passage was that Peter used the power GOD gave him to walk towards GOD! And as soon as he was about to drown GOD helped him up. Being near GOD, spending time with HIM makes us call HIM first for help, because, now we find HIM closer to us than anything or anyone. When our own strength gives away we realize that only GOD and GOD alone can save us.

And since we heed to GOD’s call and are closer to HIM even when we might trip or even start to sink in the world but will never drown completely. HE will never let us go. HE will remind us that we have to trust HIM but never punish us by letting us die! HE loves us so much!

GOD Bless you! and HE loves you loads!

JESUS - The High Priest

Hebrews 9:10-14

In the Old Testament, every year the high priest would go and offer sacrifices for himself and on behalf of the whole community asking for forgiveness of their sins. He had to be blameless himself so that when he is inside the temple he himself won’t die. His sacrifice would cleanse people of their sins temporarily. And this ritual had to be performed every year.

In the New Testament, JESUS came as the high priest and HE was born holy and righteous. The most holy place HE would enter was the presence of GOD the Father. That presence was not new to HIM for HE entered that presence everyday as HE waited on GOD. HE had no fear of dying in the presence of GOD because GOD the father was pleased with HIM. As HE entered the most holy place, HIS sacrifice was not that of any animal, but something better. HIS offering was HE HIMSELF.

HE didn’t just intercede for the sins of a few but HE interceded for all. HIS sacrifice was made only once, but enough for all generations. HIS blood didn’t just cleanse the outwardly sins but also the conscience that got soiled with the sin. HIS all powerful blood is a reminder of HIS love so amazing and HIS grace so divine.

And unlike the Old Testament where the sacrifice made was only for their people, HIS sacrifice is made for all those who believe. HIS forgiveness is for all who come to HIM and HIS grace knows no limits.

Believe and receive the forgiveness from all your sins, receive a guilt free conscience and complete freedom in JESUS name.

Amen!

A BLAMELESS LIFE

Psalm 101:2

I will be careful to lead a blameless life – when will you come to me? I will walk in my house with a blameless heart. Psalm 101:2

Here King David is showing his desire to see GOD. He is asking GOD to come to him. And free him of his many troubles. But as we get to know David, he is a person who loved seeking GOD. He sought GOD on many occasions. Not just when he was in desperate need, he also sought GOD even when he was joyful (something we all need to learn).

In this verse we see that he not just wanted GOD to come into his life (which can also mean intervene in his situations) but he also wanted to be blameless when GOD met him. He wanted to prepare himself for when GOD met him.

In the second part of the same verse he also mentions that he is going to walk in his house with a blameless heart. This part is the one which caught my attention. It is easier to lead a blameless life when in the world. You know someone is always watching you. You can see them and they can see you. You and I can always put a mask on and make people believe something we want them to believe. Being in the good books of people is a fairly easy task. Which, almost all of us have done at some point in our lives. At least I have done that.

But we are our true self in our home? Especially in our room. Behind closed doors. Where there is no one watching us. We do things that we won’t normally do in public. Like singing out loud, dancing crazy and many other things. You get it, right? David knew what he could do in his house when he knew no one was around. Many people end up doing regretful things when no one is around. It is that empty room with doors locked that makes many to lose their power of decision making.

People get caught in porn, substance abuse, masturbation, gluttony, cutting, depression, loneliness and many other evil things when they are alone. When one has to make the choice between the right and wrong and when the thought of “no one is watching or no one will know” overcomes, they lose the battle and give into many things they end up regretting.

The worst part is when they start feeling guilty and move away from GOD. They feel they are too dirty and filthy for GOD. Instead of running toward HIM they run away from HIM.

If only they knew that GOD’s love knows NO LIMIT and knows NO BOUNDS! In the old testament GOD and man had a separation. There was a void between them that no one but GOD could fulfill. That’s why JESUS came, HE took up all the sins of the world and HE died. No matter how ugly and filthy and nasty they might be HE took it and washed them through HIS blood! If GOD knew that there are certain sins that are too profound for GOD to be able to forgive and wash away, HE would not have sent HIS only son JESUS! It is because HE is able and all powerful to wash all and every sin away HE came and did what we couldn’t ever possibly do in this lifetime.

Now like David said, it is awesome to strive hard to lead a blameless life. But we are of this flesh and we are bound to fall. But since we have a GOD who understands us and is willing to set us 'captives' free, let us not run away from HIM the next time we fall. But, let us run towards HIM who is able to pull us from whatever slime we are in and make us stand on a solid ground.

Our GOD is a loving, forgiving and kind Father. He wants you and I to come to HIM and talk to HIM. Today my dear friends if you feel sad and guilty for something you did in the past, please I want to encourage you to go to GOD. Talk to HIM about your problems. Ask HIM to help you feel better and to take off the guilt feeling and never let you do anything like that again.

Remember you might fall but you will always be HIS child.

GOD bless you!

Let Us Be Thankful For Everything!!

It is always easy for me to get down on my knees and blame GOD for the things that not good in my life. I can count endless lists of items, not good in my life. I can stay up for endless hours and keep blaming and fighting with GOD. But when it comes to counting my blessings I have to search for words. I am so unaware of the good things GOD has done in my life because I spend all my time, concentrating on things I don’t have or those things I want to have. If you ask to me tell at least 5 good things GOD has done in my life and you’ll find me stammering, gasping for words and then failing miserably.

I am pretty sure that I am not the only person suffering from “not thankful heart” disease. Loving GOD and going to church every Sunday is a completely different thing. If you and I love GOD and don’t know why, we don’t truly love HIM. Actually there are millions of things that we can thank GOD for. But we don’t consider them worthy enough to be thankful for.

Good health, food, clothing, home, family, air… the list goes on. You and I are blessed. And that’s true. Yes we might have many unanswered prayers and many things unfulfilled. But that does mean you and I are not blessed.

The problem comes when we end up comparing ourselves with others or when we start listening to those people whose specific job in this world is to pull us down. These people or some situations just kill the joy within and make us miserable. The solution is to spend more time with GOD and to keep reminding yourself of how blessed you are. Keep thanking GOD for every little thing HE has done in your life. You don’t have to have mighty miracles happening in your life to be thankful. But you need to be thankful for little things for mighty miracles to happen.

Let us make it a habit to thank GOD for every little thing HE has done in our lives and live a happy life free from “not thankful heart” disease!

GOD Bless you more and more!! Be Thankful and be Kind!

Fighting GOD!

Does GOD really exist?

Everyday people come up with all sorts of proofs to prove HE does and HE doesn’t exist. In this world where being godly is considered to be completely outdated, how strong has to be the faith of the one (somebody who like many believers has never seen GOD face to face) who believes that GOD exists! To many, such a man is a complete ‘stupid’.

But his faith keeps him going. Many believers all around the world are still persecuted because of their faith! But they continue to live amidst all pain because their Faith is stronger than their feelings. These believers don’t need a proof that GOD exist but they just don’t know how to prove it to the world. They go on living their lives believing that GOD exists and waiting for the day they will finally get to see GOD they always believed existed.

Bottom line is that the truth will ultimately reveal itself. Maybe not now. But it will. And when it does, we will have our winner.

And what if the winner is the believer? Others who spent countless hours in proving that GOD never existed will finally find themselves fighting no one but GOD HIMSELF!

What is Religion? / Do Christians force their faith on others?

People think Christianity is a religion. That’s not true! Like other religions Christianity doesn’t provide a set of rules! Those who believe JESUS CHRIST and all HIS teaching and follow HIM are called Christians. That is ‘Followers of CHRIST’.

Religion is all about do's n don’ts. It imposes ones perspective forcefully on others. It can never change a person inside out. That’s why one should "hate" religion, and love GOD.

When people say that Christians go around converting people, the truth is actually entirely different. Don’t we go and tell our friends to try out a new restaurant if it’s our favorite place? We love to encourage people to do something we enjoy doing.

It’s the same thing with Christians! We believe that this life on earth is finite. And there is a life after we die. That life would be a life of eternity. And only the Grace of GOD can help us to live the life of eternity in Heaven with HIM!

Our choice can either save our life in eternity or abandon us forever! It is the love for our brothers and sisters in the world that drives every true Christian to preach the good news to all.

The Choice is in your hand!

JESUS loves you!
