PLEASE RESPECT WOMEN

Hey guys,

this is not going to be a the usual blog. After the resent events in India, I have something to say to all men out there. For those who respect women and their space I salute you. But for those who think they are strong and can force their strength on them, all I want to ask is why? Why can't you use your strength into something useful. Into something that wont hurt others? Women feel the same pain like you men do. If you are hurt by a knife women are hurt too.

Don't let them go through something you don't want yourselves to go through. Please use your energy and your strength into something better. You have brain and you can think and you can also make the right decision.

PLEASE CHOOSE TO RESPECT WOMEN.

What, When, How

What, When, How, - though these are just words when they are put as questions can sometimes frustrate and make a person crazy. What is my future? When will something good happen? How will it happen at all?

If we keep on thinking these things over and over again we will most certainly go cuckoo. People spend days, months and years thinking and worrying about these things.

Sometimes worrying is the easy way out. Though no one wants to worry we end up worrying eventually. The answer to our questions comes sooner or later but we are so caught up in the web of questions, we don’t really enjoy the answers like we dreamt.

Every answer comes with its own set of responsibilities and every responsibility has its own set of what, when and hows! Isn’t it a vicious circle?
The best example a food fanatic, like me, could give is a burger. The most vital component of a burger is its cutlet. But, the bun, sauce and veggies are equally important! Without them it’s just a cutlet.

Expecting just goodies as answers will just make your taste buds go sour.
Our GOD is the GOD of surprises. A surprise before birthday will make us sad on the birthday and a surprise after birthday is not a birthday surprise. Surprise on birthday is what makes it fun!

GOD knows the right day to give you the big surprise. Your surprise is as real as GOD is! Friends always remember, the more the waiting, the greater the surprise! And when that day comes (which most certainly will) don’t forget to enjoy it and of course be thankful to God!

Watch your Mouth - Part I

Hi readers!

Welcome to my page!

And now I shall start talking.

Sometimes I wonder if people’s brains are connected to their tongues or not. Or maybe they just cannot hear themselves talking. Why I think like that, you ask? Well I am pretty sure that you would have heard people saying hurtful things to you like its nothing. They assume they are talking normally when in fact they are shooting arrows at you with your words.

And they seem to be completely unaware of it! They just keep doing this and wonder why nobody likes them. Or maybe they don’t wonder at all. They just live in their own world, happily throwing stones at others. Who is going to talk to them? How are they going to learn that they have to think  before they speak!

It’s funny how they have no idea that they are hurting people at all! They might even go ahead and lecture you on social skills! They are that ignorant!

Well I don’t think that I have to assume, but all of us have been that person at least once in our lives. We have intentionally or unintentionally hurt someone with our words. And that make me real sad.

I have learnt it the hard way not to hurt people with my words. Once I realized that I was being mean, I had to educate myself (because unfortunately there are no classes on “how not to be a mean person”). Believe me it is not fun to think every time before you talk. And I am not telling you that I am the master of ‘talking nice’. I am still a work in progress. But at least I have realized what I was doing was wrong and the next step was just learning how to correct my mistake.

Proverbs 12:18 says “Rash language cuts and maims, but there is healing in the words of the wise.” (The Message Translation). How awesome it would be if we could just learn how to talk nice to people. It is high time that we all realize that our words have huge impact on the people around. The words we speak cannot be taken back. We cannot apologies forever and neither is everyone going to give us second chance. We have to correct ourselves now before it is too late.

I mean, it takes us 2 years or more to learn to speak and then forever to speak nice. But I am pretty sure it’s not impossible.

There is a lot I want to speak on this topic. But I really love my blogs to be short. So I am going to continue on this topic in future posts.

So to sum up this post, Next time we say anything let us ask ourselves if it will hurt the other person or not, and then talk. If what we are about to say is going to be hurtful lets think twice and not say it at all. And if you must confront the other person do it in such a way that the other person is convicted of his actions and not convinced of you being a rude person and then shut you off forever thereby you loosing the opportunity of correcting that person ever. Remember to choose your words wisely.

Till we meet again, GOD bless you

Loads of Love to you my readers!

Silver Lining

Hi there !

This is a thought you might know already. But, its been long since I thought about this proverb, and today while I was travelling this proverb struck me and I started to ponder on this thought for a while. Its funny how some things make sense in one way and completely different the next time.

The proverb is "every cloud has a silver lining". I don't know every time I say or think about this proverb, I immediately think of  the movie "Stuart Little 2". Is it the same with you guys? Ok, I don't think you would be as crazy as I am. Anyway, in that movie a father explains this proverb to his "Son" (a mouse!) that, there is always something good behind those dark and gloomy clouds. And that every dark could bring a bright sunny morning.

Its a beautiful thought. The thing is we don't know how bright that day would be, or how long it would last. But, its there, surely there. The more we ponder on this thought, the more we have a reason to be happy. We see the clouds and know good days are coming. And we see the good days and thank GOD for the wait we had to endure and say "it was all worth it!"

Sometimes the anticipation of good days gives us joy. But there is a fine line between anticipating good days and expecting way too much. It is easy to jump from the former to the latter in no time. I am not asking you to not expect great things from GOD. But we must also be real.

We have to labour in the field to expect great harvest. We cannot and should not day dream and expect GOD to do everything for us. It is wrong. And there is no use crying later on. Today is in our hand. Let us make the best use of it. Like this saying, "You give your best, and GOD will do the rest".

And for those folks who have worked hard and are waiting for their reward, there is surely a great reward for you! Your bright, happy and Blessed days are coming! Please wait patiently and in due time you will reap your harvest! Good days are coming and I congratulate you in advance for them!

Stay happy because greater things are yet to come!
love you guys
GOD bless you !!!

I Pray for you

Hello my dear friends,

I have no idea how many of you actually read my blog, or want to read it, but its kind of satisfying to know that your are putting out your thoughts to the whole wide world. And may be somewhere in some room someone is reading what you want to say and maybe even relates to it! Its amazing how small the world has become. Its amazing how "talking to the world" has become so much possible than before.

Its like praying to GOD. You can't see HIM, but you and I still talk. We still lay out requests, out petitions, our complaints before HIM. And it does reach HIM. HE might not always respond, but I am sure HE must be nodding HIS head and saying "I can relate to it too".

HE did come in the form of a human being! HE has gone through all the or maybe most of the emotions we go though. Sometimes bearable and sometimes you just have to bear the unbearable. Its a funny world. How everyone is tested and tried. We smile and laugh but tests and failures are so inevitable.  Even victory is inevitable but sometimes we have failed so many times and wished for good days so much, that when we do win we just can't enjoy it!

We are so used to being sad, our victory and its celebration always lasts a moment. We sometimes get scared to win because its not going to last long. You have to struggle again to win. There is a fight always in the corner. Always there is a competition, always a rush to win, to be better, and to get bigger! The struggle just won’t stop.

GOD knows it all. I am going through this time of trial, which just does not seem to end. Its like my prayers won’t go high enough. Its like there is some sort if  barrier that won’t allow my prayers to reach GOD. Its like the time of waiting wont end. There is test and test and more test everyday. Its like with every day I am moving away from GOD. I have placed all my requests in front of HIM. I have told all my problems to HIM. I tried waiting, thanking, praising, praying, fasting.

I am not saying that I deserve GOD to talk to me. I am a nothing. But I really need GOD right now. I need HIM to come. I need HIM to help and be there. I am surrounded by people but I feel so alone. There is a huge void which only GOD can fill. I want and need GOD to intervene. Oh, how I need HIM right now! I know this might not be HIS time, but I am feeling so desperate and helpless.

I am pretty sure many of you can relate to me right now. If you can then I want to tell you something.

As I write this blog, I am praying for you and whatever trials you are going through. I pray that GOD will bring you help in the right time, and that all your problems end in JESUS name. I pray that you would find peace and love and also share it with others. I pray that HIS joy and HIS grace abound in your lives both now and forever. May GOD make you an overcomer in the precious name of our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST! Amen. And don't forget to pray for me too!

Love to anyone reading this! GOD bless you.

Take care!

Let's Walk On Water

“Lord if it is you”, Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come”, He said.
Mathew 14:28,29

The beautiful thing about Peter in this verse is that that he asked JESUS to call him towards Him! What would have I asked? Maybe, “Lord if it is you, tell me to walk on water”. And if JESUS would have said yes, I would have jumped down the boat ran all around the lake. But Peter did a very beautiful thing! It was like a child asking his Super Parent (because He is actually walking on water, cmon!) to call him to HIM! As if he was planning to run towards JESUS and hug Him! Saying LORD thank you for choosing me, I could never have done or seen these things if you had not called me! And maybe he would have also worshipped HIM!

But poor Peter did a blunder, in verse 30. One thing I don’t get is, wasn't Peter a fisherman? How could he drown? Aren't all fishermen supposed to know swimming? Or maybe he got too scared and didn't know what to do.

But the good thing is Peter was actually walking towards JESUS, so HE was at immediate reach. But it is not that, if Peter was far, JESUS could not have immediately gotten close to him and helped him up.

The thing I learnt from this passage was that Peter used the power GOD gave him to walk towards GOD! And as soon as he was about to drown GOD helped him up. Being near GOD, spending time with HIM makes us call HIM first for help, because, now we find HIM closer to us than anything or anyone. When our own strength gives away we realize that only GOD and GOD alone can save us.

And since we heed to GOD’s call and are closer to HIM even when we might trip or even start to sink in the world but will never drown completely. HE will never let us go. HE will remind us that we have to trust HIM but never punish us by letting us die! HE loves us so much!

GOD Bless you! and HE loves you loads!

JESUS - The High Priest

Hebrews 9:10-14

In the Old Testament, every year the high priest would go and offer sacrifices for himself and on behalf of the whole community asking for forgiveness of their sins. He had to be blameless himself so that when he is inside the temple he himself won’t die. His sacrifice would cleanse people of their sins temporarily. And this ritual had to be performed every year.

In the New Testament, JESUS came as the high priest and HE was born holy and righteous. The most holy place HE would enter was the presence of GOD the Father. That presence was not new to HIM for HE entered that presence everyday as HE waited on GOD. HE had no fear of dying in the presence of GOD because GOD the father was pleased with HIM. As HE entered the most holy place, HIS sacrifice was not that of any animal, but something better. HIS offering was HE HIMSELF.

HE didn’t just intercede for the sins of a few but HE interceded for all. HIS sacrifice was made only once, but enough for all generations. HIS blood didn’t just cleanse the outwardly sins but also the conscience that got soiled with the sin. HIS all powerful blood is a reminder of HIS love so amazing and HIS grace so divine.

And unlike the Old Testament where the sacrifice made was only for their people, HIS sacrifice is made for all those who believe. HIS forgiveness is for all who come to HIM and HIS grace knows no limits.

Believe and receive the forgiveness from all your sins, receive a guilt free conscience and complete freedom in JESUS name.

Amen!
